The full size Pilatus PC-6 is a known ‘STOL’ workhorse capable of operating in rugged, short-field conditions for light transport roles, both civilian and military. Maiden flight by Ted Callahan of his electric powered VQ Model 107″ Pilatus Porter Jump plane with RC Skydiver. Turbine sound system from Model Solutions of Canada. Plane is powered by a Monster Power 110 turning an 18-8 on 9S. 19lbs gross. The bounces and ground loop on landing really show the strength of the gear!

Here is a good video shot from a cam aboard the plane this is the exit of the IHL-Junior RC Skydiver from the giant scale VQ Pilatus Porter. 15mph direct crosswind the day this was shot hence the takeoff and landing across the grass runway at Bomber Field in Monaville, Texas.
